Chemical
Peel |
|
|
|
| |
The
chemical peel procedure is for improving fine lines of the
skin, as well as skin texture and blotchy pigmentation. It
is another form of skin resurfacing like dermabrasion and
laser skin resurfacing. The top layers of the skin are removed
allowing the deeper skin to heal in a more tightened and smoother
manner. Dr. Silberman can give you a full evaluation at an
office consultation. For more information you can go to the
American Society of Plastic Surgery.

Facial Fillers (Restylane®, Juvaderm®, Radiesse®, ArteFill®, Sculptra™) |
| |
Facial Aging is caused by atrophy of fat in areas of the face. Restoring the “youthful look” means not just improving wrinkles, but restoring the lost volume in the face from fat loss, which will improve the overall structure of the face. Fillers can be used to improve appearance of the cheeks, eyelid area, deep wrinkles around the mouth and nose, and lips. There are different filler products now available, such as the hyalauronic acid products Juvaderm® and Restylane®, as well as synthetic products such as Radiesse® and ArteFill®. The fillers used are not permanent, but facial corrections obtained can last from 4 to 6 months to greater than a year. Dr. Silberman can give you an in depth analysis concerning your choices.

Fat
Injections |
|
|
|
| |
Fat
injections allow the use of a patient’s own fat tissue
to fill deeper facial lines and improve appearance. Fat injections
are most effective in the deep cheek lines that go from the
nose to mouth (nasolabial fold), and from the mouth to the
chin (mentolabial fold). The effects of fat injections are
usually temporary, but occasionally can be long lasting. Dr.
Silberman can give you a full evaluation at a complimentary
cosmetic office consultation. For more information you can
go to the American Society of Plastic Surgery.

Botox® |
|
|
|
| |
Botox®
works by binding with neuromuscular (nerve-muscle) junctions
preventing the targeted muscle from contracting. This causes
the muscle to relax, and when the muscle movement stops the
wrinkle it was creating is markedly improved or eliminated.
The effects of Botox last about three to four months. Botox®
is excellent for improving wrinkles between the eyebrows,
laugh lines and forehead creases. It can also be used for
lip line improvement. Dr. Silberman can give you a full evaluation
at a complimentary cosmetic office consultation. For more
information you can go to the American Society of Plastic
Surgery.
