Rhytidectomy (Facelift)

Facelift surgery will improve the sagging skin that occurs with aging. It is especially helpful for the neck, jowls and definition of the jawline. There are also procedures limited to just improving the neck. Besides excess skin removal, fat is also removed and re-positioned to improve the face and neck lines, sculpting the face into a more youthful appearance. Rhytidectomy scars are placed to hide within normal skin creases or within the scalp. A facelift can be combined with other facial rejuvenating procedures such as blepharoplasty (eyelid tuck), brow lift and chin augmentation. For a full evaluation concerning facial rejuvenation make an appointment with Dr. Silberman for an office consultation. For more information you can go to the American Society of Plastic Surgery.
