Botox®

Botox® works by binding with neuromuscular (nerve-muscle) junctions preventing the targeted muscle from contracting. This causes the muscle to relax, and when the muscle movement stops the wrinkle it was creating is markedly improved or eliminated. The effects of Botox last about three to four months. Botox® is excellent for improving wrinkles between the eyebrows, laugh lines and forehead creases. It can also be used for lip line improvement.
